Holy Trinity church in Weymouth has recently donated £500 towards the proposed new palliative care room at Westhaven hospital.A cheque was presented to the Friends of Weymouth & Portland hospitals and on behalf of the church by the vicar of Holy Trinity Canon Andrew Gough. Father Andrew said, ‘Part of being a Christian in any community is about giving something back and we are glad to support our local hospital’ He also praised the hard work of the league of friends and all the dedicated staff at Westhaven hospital.
