Steven Williams

It will be led by Steven Williams, former Inclusion Officer at Salisbury District Hospital.

Steven explains: ‘If you believe that the LGBTQIA+ Community belong in our church communities but are not sure of the best ways to include then this training day is for you. We’ll explore terms like: LGBTQIA+, sexual diversity, gender and ‘Queer’, and discuss good ally-ship. Come and meet like-minded folk, and join us as we gain practical skills for the next steps on our personal and church inclusion journeys.’

Lay people, clergy, LGBTQIA+ allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community – in fact everyone who is LGBTQIA+ affirming is very welcome to attend.

The training has been arranged by Salisbury Diocese’ LGBTQIA+ Chaplaincy – and is also offered as CMD.

The course will be held at Emmaus House, SP2 0FG, from 10 am to 4 pm.
