On the 20th December we held our Nine Lessons and Carols Service by candlelight. We heard readings or lessons from the bible. Telling the story of the fall of humanity, Genesis, to the promise of the Messiah, to the birth of Jesus from the prophetic books of the old testament and the Gospels. The choir sang some beautiful anthems and we all had a good old sing song to all the well known and much loved carols.
